S355MC

S355MC microalloyed steel sheets are hot-rolled structural steels manufactured according to EN 10149-2. They combine high mechanical strength with excellent formability, making them suitable for demanding industrial applications where lightweight and reliable structures are required. As a result, they are widely used in metal fabrication, agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles, lifting equipment and structural engineering.

Sidastico supplies cut-to-size plates tailored to each customer’s production requirements. Furthermore, every delivery includes the EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificate, ensuring full material traceability and compliance with the declared mechanical and chemical properties. Consequently, manufacturers can integrate the material into certified production processes with confidence.

The plates can be processed using laser cutting, plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, shearing and bending while maintaining consistent dimensional accuracy. In addition, the material offers excellent processing stability, helping manufacturers improve productivity and reduce waste throughout fabrication.

S355MC microalloyed steel sheets are commonly selected for truck chassis, trailers, agricultural equipment, earthmoving machinery, welded structures and industrial frames. Their mechanical characteristics allow engineers to design components capable of supporting significant loads without unnecessarily increasing overall weight.

Compared with conventional structural steels, this grade provides an improved strength-to-weight ratio. Therefore, manufacturers can reduce material consumption, optimise structural performance and lower operating costs while maintaining durability and long-term reliability.

Sidastico combines material availability with precision cutting services, reliable logistics and technical support throughout every stage of the supply process. This approach enables customers to obtain high-quality steel plates that meet demanding industrial specifications while simplifying purchasing and production planning.
