MAGNELIS
MAGNELIS® STEEL:
Steels for cold forming applications
Magnelis® is a flat carbon steel coated on both sides with a zinc-aluminium-magnesium alloy. This alloy is applied by means of a continuous hot-dip galvanizing process, which gives the steel homogeneity and uniformity. The chemical composition of zinc-aluminium-magnesium guarantees numerous advantages such as excellent corrosion resistance, superior versatility, and unlimited processing possibilities.

• Self-repairing on cut edges – the presence of magnesium promotes the formation of a protective layer that prevents so-called “edge rust”.
• Excellent resistance to corrosion, even in harsh environments (areas with high levels of moisture, chloride or ammonia).
• Increased strength and therefore longer life. This reduces the need for maintenance and replacement and avoids higher long-term costs
• Processing versatility: suitable for bending, deep drawing, welding, etc.

Use of Magnelis:
• From civil to industrial construction
• From agriculture to zootechnics
• Construction of support structures for solar panels
•Lightweight structures made of structural steel
• Road infrastructure
