S355J0WP weathering steel plates are structural steels manufactured according to EN 10025-5. Their chemical composition allows the surface to develop a protective patina that significantly slows atmospheric corrosion. As a result, they are an excellent choice for outdoor structures requiring long service life, reduced maintenance and reliable mechanical performance.
Sidastico supplies cut-to-size plates in a wide range of thicknesses and dimensions. Precision cutting reduces material waste and simplifies production processes. Furthermore, every delivery includes the EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificate, ensuring full traceability and compliance with the declared mechanical and chemical properties.
S355J0WP weathering steel plates are suitable for laser cutting, plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, bending, drilling and welding. They are widely used for bridges, architectural façades, railway wagons, industrial plants, steel structures and other outdoor applications exposed to changing weather conditions. Over time, the protective oxide layer improves corrosion resistance while preserving the material’s characteristic appearance.
Compared with conventional structural steels, this grade reduces maintenance requirements and extends the service life of steel structures. It also provides aesthetic advantages where the natural weathered finish is an important architectural feature.
Sidastico combines extensive stock availability with precision processing, fast deliveries and technical support, providing reliable solutions for demanding industrial and construction projects.
