S355J2C+N steel sheets are non-alloy steels manufactured according to EN 10025-2. The “J2” designation guarantees a minimum impact energy of 27 J at -20 °C, while the “C” suffix identifies a quality intended for demanding applications. The “+N” delivery condition indicates normalized or normalizing rolled material, ensuring consistent mechanical properties, excellent weldability and reliable performance. These characteristics make this grade suitable for heavy fabrication, industrial equipment and demanding engineering applications.
Sidastico supplies cut-to-size steel sheets processed from hot-rolled coil in a wide range of thicknesses and dimensions. Precision cutting reduces material waste, improves manufacturing efficiency and delivers components ready for further processing. Every delivery also includes the EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificate, ensuring full traceability and compliance with the declared mechanical and chemical properties.
S355J2C+N steel sheets are suitable for laser cutting, plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, bending, drilling and welding. They are widely used for steel structures, industrial plants, machine frames, heavy equipment and components subjected to demanding service conditions. Their balanced mechanical properties provide excellent reliability throughout the product’s service life.
Compared with conventional steel grades, this material offers improved toughness at low temperatures while maintaining excellent processability and welding performance. It is therefore an efficient solution for applications requiring durability, safety and consistent quality.
Sidastico combines extensive stock availability with precision cut-to-size processing, certified quality and reliable deliveries. Thanks to its experience in steel sheet processing, the company supplies solutions tailored to the requirements of modern industry.
