SA516 Gr.60

ASME SA516 Gr.60 steel sheets are carbon steels designed for pressure vessels, boilers and equipment operating at moderate and lower temperatures. Manufactured in accordance with ASME SA516, Grade 60 provides an excellent balance of mechanical strength, toughness and weldability. Thanks to these properties, it is widely used in the energy, petrochemical, chemical and process industries, where reliable performance and long service life are essential.

Sidastico supplies this material with cut-to-size services in a wide range of thicknesses and dimensions. Precision cutting ensures excellent dimensional accuracy, reduces material waste and improves manufacturing efficiency. Furthermore, every order is supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 certificate, ensuring full material traceability and compliance with international quality standards.

The material is suitable for welding, flame cutting, laser cutting and conventional machining. As a result, it is commonly used for pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, storage tanks, reactors, columns and industrial process equipment. In addition, its good fabrication characteristics allow manufacturers to produce complex components while maintaining high quality standards and production efficiency.

Compared with higher grades of the same specification, Grade 60 is an excellent choice when higher strength is not required. At the same time, it offers reliable mechanical performance, good workability and excellent weldability for a wide range of industrial applications. Therefore, it remains a preferred material for many pressure equipment manufacturers.

Finally, Sidastico supplies ASME SA516 Gr.60 steel sheets with fast delivery, consistent quality and expert technical support. Extensive stock availability together with advanced cut-to-size services provides reliable solutions for pressure vessel manufacturers, fabricators and industrial contractors.
