MICRO-ALLOYED STEEL:

High yield point steel

Microalloyed steel sheets are hot-rolled structural steels manufactured in accordance with EN 10149-2, designed to provide high mechanical strength while maintaining excellent formability and weldability. Thanks to the controlled addition of microalloying elements such as niobium, vanadium and titanium, these steels make it possible to produce lighter components without compromising safety, reliability or structural performance. For this reason, they are widely used in industrial sectors where weight reduction provides important technical and economic advantages.

The range includes grades such as S355MC, S420MC and S500MC, developed to meet different engineering requirements. Their high yield strength allows thinner sections to be used, reducing the overall weight of structures and improving production efficiency. In addition, these steels offer excellent performance during laser cutting, plasma cutting, bending, roll forming and welding.

Microalloyed steel sheets are widely used for chassis, trailers, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, earthmoving equipment, cranes, lifting systems, structural steelwork and components for the transport and mechanical engineering industries. The combination of high strength, reduced weight and excellent workability makes them an efficient solution for demanding industrial applications.

Available in S355MC, S420MC and S500MC grades, microalloyed steel sheets provide an ideal balance of strength, weight and formability, making them a reliable choice for applications requiring consistent quality and long-term performance.
