S420MC

S420MC microalloyed steel sheets are high-strength hot-rolled structural steels manufactured according to EN 10149-2. Thanks to their microalloyed composition and minimum yield strength of 420 MPa, they provide an excellent balance of strength, formability and weldability. Therefore, they are an ideal solution for manufacturing lightweight yet durable structures while maintaining high mechanical performance and long service life.

Sidastico supplies S420MC microalloyed steel sheets with cut-to-size services in a wide range of thicknesses and dimensions. Precision cutting ensures excellent dimensional accuracy, reduces material waste and improves manufacturing efficiency. Furthermore, every order is supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 certificate, ensuring full material traceability and compliance with international quality standards.

The material is suitable for laser cutting, plasma cutting, bending, welding and conventional machining. As a result, manufacturers can reduce component thickness while maintaining structural strength and reliability. Consequently, equipment weight can be lowered, payload capacity increased and operating efficiency improved.

S420MC is widely used for truck chassis, trailers, semi-trailers, cranes, lifting platforms, agricultural machinery, earthmoving equipment and welded structural components. In addition, it is selected for industrial projects requiring reliable mechanical performance, excellent fabrication properties and long-term durability.

Finally, Sidastico supplies S420MC microalloyed steel sheets with fast delivery, consistent quality and expert technical support. Extensive stock availability and advanced cut-to-size services provide reliable solutions for manufacturers looking for certified high-strength structural steels.
